ALESHA ANJANETTE DIXON (OCTOBER 7, 1978)

Alesha's career began in 1999 when she met Sabrina Washington, which formed part of the Dance Attic [a popular dance school in West London], and together they formed a duo and recorded a demo entitled "Inspiration", which never came to light. During an audition, they met with Su-Elise Nash, and then formed a trio. They were soon hired by the UK label Telstar Records, with the addition of fourth member, Zena McNally, and became the popular girl group R & B / Garage called "Mis-Teeq. In 2000 they released their debut single "Why?", The first and last track sung by Zena McNally, because they decided to leave the group to continue her solo career. The band decided to continue as a trio.

In 2001 they released their debut album 'Lickin' On Both Sides, "including the singles" All I Want "," One Night Stand "," B With Me "and the double-A-single" Roll On / This Is How We Do It. "

In 2002, Alesha presented along with rapper LL Cool J MOBO Awards, and in 2003, became the faces of JD Sports stores.

In 2003, Mis-Teeq released the second album, "Eye Candy", including the hits "Scandalous", "Can not Get It Back" and "Style." In 2004, Mis-Teeq toured the United States and presented his debut single there, being "Scandalous" the theme for the American edition of the album by Mis-Teeq, combining themes of "Lickin 'On Both Sides" and "Eye Candy." In addition, published "One Night Stand" before returning to the UK to begin recording new songs for their third album. But UK Telstar Records gave the band broke and was dismissed without further opportunity to publish a Greatest Hits Compilation, under exclusive license from Universal Recording Company UK.

Alesha appeared in the video of the rap group N * E * R * D "She Wants To Move" single from their second album "Fly Or Die." The last track he recorded with the group was "Shoo Shoo Baby", the theme for the Dreamworks film "Valiant." In March 2005, released the Greatest Hits and announced they were separating to pursue solo careers.
